The Czech company Tatra is the world's oldest manufacturer of road and off-road vehicles with a tradition since 1850. Tatra produces 3 standard model lines of medium and heavy trucks and chassis for mixed operation on roads and in difficult terrain. A large part of the production is traditionally intended for the armies and security forces, Tatra also produces vehicles for firefighters, rescuers and civilian users. In addition to standardized model lines, it also produces vehicles according to individual customer requirements and special military vehicles. Tatra is also one of the few manufacturers that produces its own chassis, engines, transmissions and cabins, while exporting its production to many countries around the world.
